Lyrics:
1. Lord, in my darkest days, when I have lost my way,
shine down your light on me again.
Through trials great and small, help me to face them all,
and I will not have lived my life in vain.
2. Jesus, you laid the stones for men to walk upon.
Now gently guide me in thy way.
And through this earthly pain, just let me praise your name,
then I will not have lived my life in vain.
CHORUS:
Lord, lay your hand on me, and guide my destiny.
Just let me make it day by day.
Your spirit breathes eternal life in me,
then I will not have lived my life in vain.
